QIGONG for health, healing & happiness

"Return to the natural state of the child!

Relax, relax, relax.

Laugh, smile, play, breathe, savor.

Rejoice in the miracle of your aliveness and being.

No worry, no hurry".

--Zayne Marston

Qi (Chi or Chee): The fundamental life force that permeates all things. Qi connects and animates everything in the universe. When the flow of Qi is impaired, we have disease. When it flows easily, we have perfect health.

Gong: Achieving results through consistent practice, patience and perseverance (the “three P’s”).

Qigong (energy work): The art and science of using breath, movement, mind and meditation to cleanse, strengthen, and circulate the blood, lymph and vital life energy.

Energy Cultivation Program

                      Give yourself the gift!

VITALITY, REJUVENATION, TRANQUILITY

Qigong (Chi Kung) classes are particularly geared to the beginner, offering a variety of self-healing and energizing exercises. These simple ancient Chinese practices consist primarily of slow, gentle movements combined with breath, awareness and mind intent.  Learn how to cultivate your vital life force, activate the internal medicine within and integrate the practice into your daily life.

INFORMATIVE, INSPIRING, PLAYFUL!

Dear qigong friends,

At long last I’m finally getting settled at my new location in Colrain, MA. The “breathtaking studio” is complete, and I’m beginning to offer some qigong classes there.

I am delighted to announce a new “drop in” class for everyone (including beginners) that will be offered every Tuesday, 5:30-6:45 pm, suggested tuition, $7-15 (sliding). The primary emphasis will be on qigong principles applied to various practices including (but not limited to) 1) oiling and opening the joints designed to enhance the smooth flow and conductivity of vital energy through the body as well as healing and strengthening the major joints, 2) A series of simple, flowing qigong movements that open the spine to enhance the flow of healing chi energy as well as massage, cleanse, nourish and strengthen the major organs 3) standing meditation that adjusts the skeletal structure to enhance the “filling up” of vital energy and fosters the “uncovery” and release of deep tension that blocks energy flow. VERY POWERFUL and fundamental to the cultivation of chi energy in the body.

A DVD of this class is also available for purchase ($12) and is designed to complement the class so students can practice on their own outside of class.

Also, stay tuned for my monthly qigong Saturday workshops (usually the first Saturday of the Month). The next one is scheduled for Saturday, June 7 10:00-1:00 pm. The qigong we’ll learn during this 3 hour class is “Organ Cleansing and Strengthening” Qigong, also know as Zhang Fu Gong which originated in Mandarin, China. This is one of my favorites because it is easy to learn, very effective (results are felt very quickly) and can be performed in 10 or 15 minutes—a fantastic way to show love to your organs and have them love you back!

I so look forward to continuing qigong classes at my new home and introducing more profoundly wonderful and transformative, self-healing methods for health and happiness. Hope to see you there!

Many blessings,

Zayne
