Thank you so much for the beautiful weekend! I felt such honesty from you both (and everyone), and I am changed from the experience! Indeed we all touched and embraced our souls, and within the safety of the body—that Zayne helped us cultivate through qigong at the beginning of each day –and the safety of the discourse that Moriah held—and the Tibetan’s great Love-- we were all safe to deepen into ourselves! I thank you all again.

What I regard as most important in a therapy relationship My role is to help my client look inward into his/her soul and discover false belief systems that are causing wounds and pain in his/her present life. These beliefs often stem from childhood conditioning. I help to identify and integrate the areas of the client that are in conflict. This fosters self-acceptance and self-awareness which allows the client to make positive life choices and to act on these choices. It is so easy to forget the power an individual has to change his or her life for the better. I hold a strong belief in the client's capacity for healing, wholeness and transformation. This nourishes trust and also inspires my clients to see themselves in a new light.
Background I received my BA Degree in Sociology and Psychology from Ithaca College in New York. After graduation, I worked in a variety of social service programs including a lock-up facility for juvenile delinquent girls and at a county jail to help offenders become reestablished in the community. I also worked as a hospice care provider.
When I started my private practice, I saw many anorexic and bolemic clients. At the same time, I co-directed a home for emotionally disturbed and mentally challenged individuals. After a decade of counseling work, I felt the need to include a spiritual perspective in my practice that could more readily help people understand the origin of their problems within the greater context of their souls'journey. This greater perspective is profoundly enhanced by my alignment with Ascended Master, Djwhal Khul, who provides soul insight and guidance. I began to include astrology and dream analysis into my therapy approach coupled with an expanded intuitive ability to see the bigger picture of my client's process. I am the founder and co-director of the School of the Golden Discs, a center for spiritual exploration and a sanctuary for the soul. I have published two books, Soul Searching with Djwhal Khul, the Tibetan (autobiographical) and Earth School, A Fresh Perspective on the Human Condition." My third book, MAKING THE SHIFT: Field Guide to the Emerging Consciousness, shall be released in the summer of 2011.
Credentials 27 years experience in specialized depth-level psychotherapy, a graduate level certificate in Holistic Counseling from Interface, founder and co-director of the School of the Golden Discs, a center for spiritual exploration since 1991, group facilitator and teacher. I am a psychotherapist, astrologer and dream analyst, gifted channel for Ascended Master, Djwhal Khul, with a private practice since 1983.
My hours are very flexible. Most of my therapy is on the telephone in the mornings, afternoons and early evenings. I also offer Saturday morning hours for clients who aren't available for my weekday schedule. In addition, I am available to see individuals and couples in my office in Western Massachusetts.
Fees I charge $110 for a sixty-minute session. Payment is due by cash, check or credit card at the time of each session. Secured, on-line pre-payment option is also available through this website. If clients have to cancel, I would like 24-hours notice. Otherwise, the client will need to pay for the full session. I make exceptions for unexpected emergencies.
Insurance I am not affiliated with any insurance plans.
Return calls I do not use e-mails in the therapeutic relationship, although I occasionally exchange e-mails with clients for scheduling purposes. I check my telephone messages on a regular basis throughout the day, in the evening, and over weekends. I try to return calls as soon as I can—usually within 24 hours. |
